DIY Costumes You Already Have in Your Closet For Halloween
The countdown to Halloween has officially started, and if you don’t have a costume yet, maybe you don’t even need to look any further than your own closet. Check out our segement below to see how to mix fashion with fantasy by using pieces in your own wardrobe. When getting inspiration for your costume this year, try to think outside the box and be creative with your jewelry, hair and makeup because those details play a major role and contribute to the entire essence of Halloween.
First up is Candance showcasing our Sci-fi inspired: Galactic Cheerleader. A metallic shift dress is all you need to start. Then you add accessories, such as, druzy stones with exposed edges, ankle boots, and fun make-up. Next up is Kate showing us how 70’s is done right. She is wearing flared bell bottom jeans with embroidery on the sides. A striped off-the-shoulder top and sunnies pull the whole costume together. Lastly, Coral rocked a very creative costume. Her look was inspired by Frida Kahlo. For makeup she has the famous bold Frida eyebrows and a beautiful up-do braid with a flower crown to add some spunk.
Have fun and dress up what you have! Transform it into a unique, talk around the town costume this Halloween. Talk about COSTumes that COST nothing, yet look chic. Come see us at SoLa for your costume!
